Dispersant MF, because its performance exceeds other types of dispersants often used, and because it is used in commercial dyes as high as about 60%, it plays an important role in dispersing and filling dyes, and has achieved considerable development. Dispersant MF is an anionic dispersant. It is a formaldehyde condensate of methyl naphthalene sulfonic acid. The general synthesis is industrial methyl naphthalene sulfonated with sulfuric acid, then condensed with formaldehyde, and then neutralized by lime and liquid caustic soda. The finished product is filtered, but the waste of calcium sulfate caused by the production is too large, which leads to the increase of environmental protection pressure. Among them, our company MF-C is an environmentally friendly dispersant with low quinoline.

MF dispersant Changes Hydrolysis Acidity:
The hydrolysis reaction takes dilute acid as the medium, so it is necessary to add water and cool down to 85~95℃. If the temperature is too high, methylnaphthalene sulfonic acid hydrolysis may occur, which should be avoided. In the past, the acidity of dilute acid is generally 21~23%, so the diffusion force of MF is always less than 90%. When more than 28%, it is easy to agglomerate and difficult to stir, so it is controlled between 25~27%.
Condensation Reaction In MF Dispersant:
In the process of MF production, the rate constant of condensation reaction increases with the increase of temperature. The reaction temperature increases from 80℃ to 100℃, and the speed increases by 5-8 times. However, when the temperature exceeds 170℃, it is possible to produce a large number of short-chain molecules. When using pressure condensation, under 232.3~263.4kpa, the reaction temperature can reach 130~140℃, generally 2 hours on the reaction completed, condensation is complete, the adjustment of reaction temperature and pressure, shorten the production cycle of products, product quality is greatly improved.
