Polynaphthalene Sulfonate Manufacturing Method:
The preparation process includes three steps: methyl naphthalene sulfonation, condensation of sulfonated product with formaldehyde, and neutralization. Put 500kg of methyl naphthalene into the sulfonation kettle, heat to melt, start stirring, and raise the temperature to 130~140℃ for reaction 2. Then add 210L of water under rapid stirring, and then stir for half an hour and then take a sample to measure the acidity. If the total acidity is 25%-27%, it is qualified. Cool to 90-100°C. Add 300kg of 37% formaldehyde solution at once. Increase the pressure naturally, control the reaction temperature at 130~140℃, and the pressure at 0.15~0.20MPa. React for 2h to allow it to fully condense. After the condensation is completed, 30% lye is added for neutralization, and the pH is about 7. Finally, the crystals are cooled, filtered, and dried to obtain the finished product.
Polynaphthalene Sulfonate Usage:
Polynaphthalene Sulfonate is a thinner, used in the papermaking industry to control the pulp, reduce the two-sidedness, improve the retention of fillers or fine fibers, improve sizing, and reduce coating viscosity. Used as a high-efficiency dispersant for water-based paints and pigment pastes. Used as a colorant dispersant in acrylic series, aldehyde-acrylic series, and chlorinated latex paints. It can also be used as an adhesive, polymer filler powder and sealing layer to improve water resistance.
Polynaphthalene Sulfonate Function:
It has excellent diffusion properties, no permeability and foaming properties. Resistance to acid, alkali, hard water and inorganic salts. It has no affinity for cotton, linen and other fibers. It can be used with protein and nylon at the same time, but it cannot be mixed with cationic dyes or cationic surfactants. The pH (1 solution) is near neutral. This product is mainly used as a dispersant and filler for vat dyes and disperse dyes. It has the advantages of good grinding effect, dispersibility, heat resistance, and high temperature dispersion stability. Compared with dispersant N, it is resistant to high temperature and stable. This product can make dyes brighter, higher color power and uniform coloring. It can also be compounded with various dispersants to meet the commercial requirements of various disperse dyes and vat dyes. It can also be used as an early-strength water-reducing agent for concrete. It can be used as a dispersant for vat dye grinding and vat dye suspension dyeing.
