JF FERROUS GLUCONATE POWDER Product Introduce:
Ferrous gluconate, the molecular formula is C12H22O14Fe2H2O, and the relative molecular mass is 482.18. It can be used as color-preserving agent and nutritional fortifier in food, and it can be obtained by neutralizing gluconic acid with reduced iron. The characteristics of ferrous gluconate are high bioavailability, good solubility in water, and mild flavor without astringency.Properties Light yellowish gray or slightly grayish-green yellow powder or granules, with a slightly caramel-like odor. 1g is about soluble in 10mL warm water, almost insoluble in ethanol. 5% solution is acidic to litmus. The theoretical iron content of this product is 12%.
