Concrete Water Reducer Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Powder Fasting Curing astm c494
Concrete Admixture Dispersant Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate Powder Product Description:
SNF-A can be applied to make flowing, strong or steam-curing concrete. The minimum working temperature can be as low as 0ºCdegrees. In steam curing, concrete with superplasticizer has to be strong enough before heating. The steam curing specification has to be pre-tested. It is particularly used as base material for compound admixtures.
Main effective ingredient: | Sodium β-Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate
Molecular Formula: | 2(C10H6SO3Na)·(n-1) CH2·(N-2) (C10H5SO3Na)

Usage:
1. Produces the high slump flowing concrete with no loss in strength.Produces low water/cement ratio concrete with high strengths.
3. Ideal for using in high strength concrete, flowing concrete, early strength concrete, precast steam curing concrete, prestressed concrete etc. where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.
3. Be used as basic material to produce others compound admixtures, (such as accelerating and water-reducing admixture, retarding and water-reducing admixture, pumping antifreeze and pumping water-reducing admixture, etc.)
Advantages:
Substantial improvement in work-ability without increased water or the risk of segregation. Normal set without retardation, even when overdosed. Improved density and surface finish.
High water reducing rate. High strengths after 8 hours.
Compatible with Portland cement, Normal Portland cement, Portland Slag Cement, Flyash Cement, Portland Pozzolanic Cement, etc.
Improve workability (slump) of concrete when added into mixing truck.
Dosage:
a. 0.5-1.5% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
b. SNF-A can be added directly or added in after dissolved in water. It can be added during mixing and after-mixing (better). The after-mixing approach can achieve better result.
Package, Storage & Shelf Life:
1. For powder: Powder packed in 650kg jumbo bag.
2. It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture.
3. Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
