Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate
1.concrete with extremely workable characteristics referred to as high slump.
2.also allows concrete to be produced with very low water/cement ratios at low or normal slumps.
3. ideal for use in pre stress, precast, bridge deck or any concrete where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.
4.also fluidize concrete, making it ideal for tremie concreting or other applications where high slumps are desired.
5.compatible with Portland Cement, Normal Portland cement, Portland Slag Cement, Fly-ash Cement, Portland Pozzolanic Cement, etc.

The mixing amount suggested is between 0.5% to 1.0% of cementing materials, and this can reduce the cementing amount by 20 to 30%. This product, when mixed with concrete, can keep the strength intact, enabling cement saving by 15 to 20%. Note that the solid content should be 0.7%, and slump will experience an increase of 10cm by mixing the product. It is suitable for high strength, early strength, flowing, prefabricating, prestressing force concretes, etc.
Furthermore, this agent can be mixed with other externally applied agents after the successful completion of pilot devement or laboratory experiment.
To provide initial workability especially with low water cement ratio.
To significantly improve the initial workability of site mixed concrete without increasing water demand.
To provide improved durability by increasing ultimate strengths and reducing concrete permeability.
To have high slump retention with early setting time.
1.produces high slump flowable concrete with no loss in strength.
2.produces low water/cement ratio concrete and therefore, high strengths.
3.In prestress/precast work, can be used to substantially reduce or eliminate the high energy requirements of external heat for accelerated curing.
4.For concrete, even at high slump, exhibits no significant segregation in comparison to concrete without a super-plasticizer at the same slump.
5. aids in rapid discharge of concrete from truck mixers thereby reducing on the job time and improving mixer utilization
