JF REDISPERSIBLE POLYMER POWDER Product Introduce:

Redispersible latex powder can modify mortar by forming a film with high adhesion between cement slurry and aggregate and blocking the void in mortar. Cement hydration and polymer film formation are carried out simultaneously, forming a network structure of cement slurry and polymer film permeating each other. Polymers with reactive groups will react chemically with silicates on the surface of solid calcium hydroxide to improve the bond between the cement product and aggregate, thus improving the performance of mortar.

Application Of Redispersible Polymer Powder:

Inside and outside wall putty powder, ceramic tile adhesive, ceramic tile joint agent, dry powder interface agent, exterior insulation mortar, self-leveling mortar, repair mortar, decorative mortar, waterproof mortar and exterior insulation dry mix mortar. In mortar, it is to improve the brittleness and high elastic modulus of traditional cement mortar, give cement mortar better flexibility and tensile bond strength, in order to resist and delay the crack of cement mortar.

As the polymer and mortar form a network structure of mutual permeability, the continuous polymer film is formed in the pores, which enhances the bond between aggregates and blocks some pores in the mortar. Therefore, the performance of hardened modified mortar is better than cement mortar. There's been a lot of progress.

The Role Of Redispersible Polymer Powder In Mortar:

1. Improve the compressive strength and flexural strength of mortar.
2. The addition of latex powder increases the elongation of mortar, thus improving the impact toughness of mortar, but also gives a good stress dispersion effect of mortar.
 

3. Improve the bonding performance of mortar. The bonding mechanism depends on the adsorption and diffusion of macromolecules on the bonding surface. At the same time, the rubber powder has a certain air permeability. Together with cellulose ether, it can fully penetrate the substrate surface, so that the substrate layer and the surface performance of the new gypsum close, thus improving the adsorption capacity, greatly improve its performance.
 

4. Reduce the elastic modulus of mortar, improve the deformation ability, reduce cracking phenomenon.
5. Improve the wear resistance of mortar. The improvement of wear resistance is mainly due to the presence of a certain amount of glue on the surface of mortar. Rubber powder acts as a bond. The omental structure formed by rubber powder can pass through holes and cracks in cement mortar. Improve the bond between the base material and cement hydration products, thereby increasing wear resistance.

Composition Of Redispersible Polymer Powder:

a. Polymer resin: Located in the core part of the rubber powder particles, it is also the main component of the redispersible latex powder.
b. Additives (internal): together with the resin, it plays the role of modifying the resin.
c. Additives (external): In order to further expand the performance of the redispersible latex powder, another material is added.
d. Protective colloid: A layer of hydrophilic material wrapped on the surface of redispersible latex powder particles. Most of the protective colloids of redispersible latex powder are polyvinyl alcohol.
e. Anti-caking agent: fine mineral filler, mainly used to prevent rubber powder from agglomerating during storage and transportation and to facilitate the flow of rubber powder (pour out from paper bags or tankers).
