JF SULFONATED MELAMINE FORMALDEHYDE RESIN Product Description:
Sulfonated melamine formaldehyde (SMF) is a polymer used in cements and plaster-based formulations to reduce water content,while increasing the fluidity and the workability of the mix.In concretes,addition of SMF in an appropriate mix design results in lower porosity,higher mechanical strength, and improved resistance to aggressive environments.

Melmine Superplasticizer Application:
1. In self-leveling flooring materials and grout for the base of casting equipment.
2. In high strength gypsum and gypsum products.
3. In ready mixed concrete,pumping concrete,flowing concrete,high strength and high-performance concrete, self-compact concrete and high strength mortar.
4. In refractory concrete,steam curing concrete,plain concrete,decorative concrete and pigmented concrete.
5. Applied as super dispersant for oil-well cement in casting and strengthening.
6. One of major components of water proofing materials for improving impermeability of concrete or mortar.
Melamine Chemical Properties:
Non-flammable, stable in nature at room temperature. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline (pH=8), and can form melamine salts with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, etc. Under neutral or slightly alkaline conditions, it condenses with formaldehyde to form various methylol melamines, but under slightly acidic conditions (pH=5.5~6.5), it undergoes polycondensation with methylol derivatives to form resins. When hydrolyzed by strong acid or strong alkali aqueous solution, the amine group is gradually replaced by the hydroxyl group to form cyanuric acid diamide first, further hydrolyzed to form cyanuric acid monoamide, and finally cyanuric acid.
Usage & Dosage:
Dry mixed homogeneously with other ingredients of dry mortar and packaged as one product, which can be at job site mixed with recommended dosage of water for application.
Recommended dosage is 0.30-1.00% based on binder weight. The detailed dosage should be determined by test in advance according to local raw materials and construction regulation.
Package,Storage & Transportation:
For powder, packed in 25kg PE-lined woven bag.
Storage and transportation should be carried out in cool and dry condition. Under high temperature and high humidity, product should be kept away from moisture and pressure to avoid coalescence or agglomeration.
