Calcium formate,Ca(HCO2)2 (or. Ca(HCOO)2) is the calcium salt of formic acid, HCOOH.The mineral form is very rare and called formicaite. It is known from a few boron deposits.It may be produced synthetically by reacting calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide with formic acid.

Calcium Formate Application:
1. Construction. In winter,Calcium formate can be used as acceleration concreting for cement and Dry Mix system.accelerate the cement hardening rate, shorten the coagulation time,especially in the winter construction, to avoid condensation at low temperatures.
2. Feed addtitives. As feed additives, which can stimulation animals appetite and Reduce the rate of diarrhea.After animal be weaned, add 1.5% calcium formate in feed, which can improve animal growth rate more than 12%.
Calcium Formate Characteristics:
1. Speed up the hardening speed of cement and shorten the construction period.
2. Anti-freeze and anti-rust.

Calcium Formate Usage:

3. Calcium formate is used as a feed additive and is suitable for all kinds of animals. It has the functions of acidification, mildew resistance and antibacterial.
