Dispersant MF/ Dispersing agent MF, Chemical name is Methyl-Naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde, is mainly used as dispersing agent and filler for vat dyes and disperse dyes. It can make the dye more brightly and colorful, increase color force and uniform coloring. It can also be used as stabilizer in rubber industry & auxiliary tanning agent in leather industry.

Dispersant MF Production Method:

The preparation process of dispersant MF includes three steps: sulfonation of methyl naphthalene, condensation of sulfonated product with formaldehyde, and neutralization. 500kg methylnaphthalene was put into the sulfonation kettle, heated and melted, then stirred, heating to 130~140℃, and then 210L water was added under rapid agitation, and then stirred for half an hour to sample the acidity. If the total acidity was 25%~27%, it was qualified. ; Cool to 90~100℃. Add 37% formaldehyde solution 300kg at a time. The reaction temperature is 130~140℃ and the pressure is 0.15~0.20mpa. React 2h to allow it to fully condense. After condensation, add 30% lye for neutralization until PH value is about 7, cool crystallization filtration, dry crystallization is the finished product.

Determination of quinoline in dispersant MF by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Xylene was used as extraction solvent, solid phase extraction was used for pre-treatment, and internal standard method was used for quantification.
