Sodium gluconate is a compound with the chemical formula NaC6H11O7. It is the sodium salt of gluconic acid. Its E number is E576. Sodium gluconate is widely used in textile printing and dyeing, metal surface water treatment and other fields. It is also used as chelating agent, steel surface cleaning agent, glass bottle cleaning agent, and chelating agent in cement, electroplating, and alumina dyeing industries. It is a white powder that is very soluble in water.

Sodium Gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, produced by fermentation of glucose. Sodium Gluconate is a white to tan,
granular to fine, crystalline powder, very soluble in water.
Sodium Gluconate is non corrosive, non toxic and resistant to oxidation and reduction, even at high temperatures. It is readily
biodegradable (98% after 2 days).
Sodium Gluconate Main Usage:
Sodium gluconate is a common organic sodium salt with a wide range of uses. Sodium gluconate industrial grade sodium gluconate is often used in construction, chemical and other industries. In the construction industry, it is often used as a cement additive to reduce water and retardation. In the chemical industry, sodium gluconate is used to produce other gluconate and glucose. The basic raw materials of acid and gluconolactone also have good applications in electroplating, cleaning agents, film manufacturing, water quality treatment, etc.
