Dispersant MF is a brown powder, easily soluble in water, easily hygroscopic, non-flammable, has excellent diffusibility and thermal stability, impermeable and foaming, resistant to acid and alkali, hard water and inorganic salts, has no affinity for cotton fibers; has no affinity for proteins; It has affinity with polyamide fibers; it can be used with anionic and nonionic surfactants, but cannot be mixed with cationic dyes or surfactants; it can prevent dye particles from being dispersed and reduced by heat, agglomeration, and reduction. Better than decentralized NNO. Dispersant MF is an anionic surfactant.

Preparation:

Using 235-250℃ boiling fraction of coal tar (containing 2-methylnaphthalene as the main component) as raw material, sulfonated to obtain methylnaphthalenesulfonic acid, and then condensed with formaldehyde.

Dispersant MF Application:

1.Dispersant MF is mainly used as dispersant and tilling agent for vat dyes and disperse dyes.It can also be used as a diffusing agent in the manufacture of colorants.
2.Dispersant MF can be used as early strength water reducer for concrete,which can shorten construction period,save cement,save water,increase cement strength.
3.In printing and dyeing industry,it is used as vat dye suspersion padding and soluble vat dye dyeing.
4.In leather industry,it is used as a tanning aid.
5.In subber industry,it can be a stabilizer for latex.

Dispersant MF Mechanism of Action In Coatings:

Since water-dispersed coatings use water as the medium, they have poor affinity for pigments and fillers. To make the pigments and fillers uniformly dispersed in the phase, it is necessary to add MF dispersants. The function of MF dispersants is to make the pigments and fillers easily in water. Disperse, suspend, and maintain its dispersed state after dispersion. The mechanism is to adsorb and disperse on the surface of filler and pigment particles to generate static charge on the surface of the pigment. The electrostatic repulsion can separate the pigment and filler particles from each other without flocculation.
