Calcium lignosulfonate is a surfactant, after adding concrete, because of the hydrophobic group directed adsorption on the surface of cement particles, so that the cement with a negative charge. The cement particles with the same charge are mutually repulsive and dispersed under the action of charge repulsive force. The flocculent structure formed in the initial stage of cement adding water becomes dispersed structure, and the free water in the flocculent polymer body is released, so as to achieve the purpose of water reducing agent.

1. Calcium lignosulfonate can improve the workability of concrete, when the cement amount and water consumption of concrete is unchanged, the slump of low plastic concrete can be increased about two times (from 3-5cm to 8-18cm), early strength and not mixed with the basic close.
 

2. The maximum temperature of the exothermic peak is slightly lower than that of unmixed cement, and both slag cement and dam cement are lower than 3℃.
 

4. The gas content of concrete has increased, the gas content of blank concrete is about 1%, and the gas content of concrete mixed with 0.25% calcium lignosulfonate is about 2.3%.
