JF SULFONATED MELAMINE FORMALDEHYDE RESIN Product Description:
Melamine is a thermosetting plastic, which is made by the polymerization of melamine and formaldehyde. The chemical name is melamine formaldehyde resin, the English name is melamine, and the Chinese name is melamine. It has the advantages of non-toxic, tasteless, anti-collision, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and low temperature resistance. Compact structure, strong hardness, not easy to break, and strong durability. The return route is very extensive, such as chemical industry, packaging, papermaking, construction, tableware, furniture, etc.

Melamine Features:
1. It has greater chemical activity and high bonding strength. It has high water resistance and can survive boiling water for more than three hours. It has high thermal stability, strong low-temperature curing ability, good abrasion resistance, fast curing, and no curing agent is required.
2. The melamine product has better hardness and abrasion resistance than the urea-formaldehyde resin product, and has better resistance to chemicals and electrical insulation. However, the adhesive layer is easy to crack after curing, and it is not suitable to use the modified melamine resin adhesive alone.
3. The storage period is short and it is easy to deteriorate. It can be made into powder to extend the storage period. The price of modified melamine resin is relatively high. It is used to make plastic veneer panels and is widely used in furniture, vehicle construction, etc.
Melamine Chemical Properties:
Non-flammable, stable in nature at room temperature. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline (pH=8), and can form melamine salts with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, etc. Under neutral or slightly alkaline conditions, it condenses with formaldehyde to form various methylol melamines, but under slightly acidic conditions (pH=5.5~6.5), it undergoes polycondensation with methylol derivatives to form resins. When hydrolyzed by strong acid or strong alkali aqueous solution, the amine group is gradually replaced by the hydroxyl group to form cyanuric acid diamide first, further hydrolyzed to form cyanuric acid monoamide, and finally cyanuric acid.
Melamine Resin Packaging, Transportation And Storage:
Melamine can be packed in 25KG/ bag and 650KG/ bag according to customer's requirements. The packing bags are PVC woven bags (small packaging, lined with plastic film) or container bags (large packaging). During transportation and storage, the outer package shall be avoided from being exposed to rain or pierced by sharp objects, and shall not be exposed to oil pollution.
