Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose Dissolution Method:
1. All models can be added to the material by dry mixing.
2. When it is necessary to directly add the aqueous solution at room temperature, it is best to use the cold water dispersion type, and it usually takes 10 to 90 minutes to thicken after adding.
3. For ordinary models, stir and disperse with hot water first, then add cold water to stir and cool to dissolve.
4. If agglomeration or entanglement occurs during the dissolution process, it is due to insufficient stirring or ordinary type directly added to cold water. It should be stirred quickly at this time.
5. If bubbles are generated during dissolution, they can be left to stand for 2-12 hours (the specific time is determined by the consistency of the solution) or removed by vacuum, pressurization, etc., or an appropriate amount of defoamer can be added.
Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose Production Method:
The refined cotton cellulose is treated with alkaline solution at 35-40°C for half an hour, squeezed to crush the cellulose, and properly aged at 35°C, so that the average degree of polymerization of the obtained alkaline fiber is within the required range. Put the alkali fiber into the etherification kettle, add propylene oxide and methyl chloride successively, and etherify at 50-80℃ for 5h, the maximum pressure is about 1.8MPa. Then add proper amount of hydrochloric acid and oxalic acid, wash in 90°C hot water to increase the volume. Dehydrate and wash to neutral with a centrifuge. When the water content of the material is less than 60%, it is dried with hot air at 130°C until the water content is less than 5%, and finally smashed through a 20-mesh sieve to obtain the finished product.
